As Frank and I made our way through downtown Indianapolis, I spotted a unique interaction.
What appeared to be a consumer transaction of candy and water from a mobile vendor, was much, much more. She was reluctant to disclose her name and even more hesitant to allow me to take the photo, but I quickly snapped a shot.
Her name is Ms. Nicky and in her free time, she delivers candy, water, and hope. When she’s not on her bike riding throughout downtown Indy, she’s in a classroom molding the hearts and minds of Indiana’s fifth graders.
